A well-established company based in Sandton is looking for a Receptionist / Office Administrator  Minimum Education: Matric

Minimum Experience: 5 solid years’ experience minimum

Duties and Requirements includes but is not limited towards the following:

 Reception Duties

  • Ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out the company
  • Screen calls for Managers and Directors
  • Divert calls from customers to the relevant department if the actual person asked for is not available
  • Take down messages ensuring names and numbers are all correct
  • Maintain strict security at the premises, ensuring that the identity of all visitors is verified before opening the gate.
  • Receive guests in a professional manner, offering refreshments etc.
  • Divert all deliveries to the Dispatch area
  • Manage the visits of routine service providers to the offices

Administration Duties

  • Co-ordinate the driver’s daily duties
  • Keep the service provider file up to date with all relevant contact names and numbers that we require to successfully run the office
  • Administer and control the office petty cash
  • Maintain company vehicle log from ABSA and file electronic documents
  • Organize catering for meetings as required.
  • Control stationery, staff refreshments and cleaning detergents inventory
  • Schedule monthly clean-up at the warehouse and storage facilities
